Richard Hines is the Rector of Christ church cathedral in Stanley. As an Anglican, his pastoral charge includes the Falklands, South Georgia and the Sandwich islands. Despite the fact that the inhabitants are predominantly British, and also British citizens, Argentina is attempting to steal them again and Barack Obama has stated that he remains neutral on the issue. He is happy to intervene in North Africa for "humanitarian" interests, but not to protect the sovereign soil of America's closest ally.
